    Where is the best wildlife?

Even cities have wildlife – London has foxes, Delhi has rhesus monkeys, New York has indigenous bats. Generally speaking, the best wildlife viewing is in less accessible, uninhabited wildernesses. These areas could be difficult or expensive to get to. Joining a small group expedition could make it more affordable. Take travelling to the Upper Himalayas to see a snow leopard, for example.

How do you help conserve wildlife?

Sustainable tourism and wildlife conservation is part of who we are. We work hand in hand with local communities and conservation groups. Included in your price are fees and donations to support organisations working with wildlife. The guides and naturalists are local to each area. Taking care of their environment is vital to them.   If you’d like to get more hands-on, try one of ‘working trips’. You could fix water pumps, count wildlife or pass your skills on.

How do I avoid crowds in India?

With careful planning, it’s possible to enjoy excellent wildlife viewing more exclusively in some of India’s wildlife reserves. Choose a time of the year when there are fewer visitors, i.e. a shoulder or green season. Go to less accessible areas. A few reserves now offer access to certain areas on an individual basis.
