10 days in Peru

Region - Latin America - Machu Picchu

Peru is an excellent place to visit with high standards of accommodation and food.  The landscape is varied from the Andes Mountains to the Amazon rainforest and quieter tributaries. There are still many Inca sites scattered through the countryside.

Not every trip has to follow the same old classic routes. To get away from the usual tourist spots, we travel deeper into the Amazon. Here the wildlife is more visible. Accommodation levels may drop from four-star to three-star. It’s worth it to see the wild forest as it should be.

Seeing Machu Picchu with a private guide on a private tour is the best way to visit the popular tourist site. Areas that are steeper to get to, and further away are less busy.
